Yvonne H. Lamster, age 84, died Monday, July 18, 2005, at her home in Brookings, South Dakota. Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Eidsness Funeral Home, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitations will be from 5-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Yvonne Helene Lamster was born May 6, 1921, at Thann, France, to Alfred and Rosalie T. (Kohler) Keller. She came to the United States with her family in 1925 and attended school in Madison, South Dakota. On July 27, 1947, she married Verne Lamster at Madison. They were divorced in 1969. Yvonne worked in the Brookings County Treasurers office from 1959 until 1966, LeFevre Motors from 1966 until 1972, for ten years in the residential life department at SDSU, and for the Volunteer Service Bank. Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Robert) Raabe, of Brookings; a son, Ronald (Robyn) Lamster of Vermillion, South Dakota; four grandchildren, Shawnda, Shad, Brandi, and Nicole; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne DeCurtins.
