William Willie Simon, age 69, of Brookings, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Avera-McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. William Walter Simon was born December 2, 1936, at Lead, South Dakota, to Henry and Mildred Simon. He was admitted to the South Dakota Developmental Center in Redfield in 1942, and moved to ADVANCE in Brookings in 2002. He enjoyed playing dominoes and putting together puzzles. He also enjoyed spending time with friends. He loved going out for coffee at Starbucks. Willie is survived by his friends and family at ADVANCE.
