Virginia Janssen, 73, of Elkton, died peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Riverview Manor in Flandreau.  No services are planned at this time.  Eidsness Funeral Home is assisting the Janssen family with arrangements.

Virginia Ann Janssen was born to Milton and Arlyne (Benz) Janssen on October 6, 1948, in Brookings, SD.  She grew up in Elkton, SD, and graduated from Elkton High School.

Virginia lived in Des Moines, IA for several years before moving back to South Dakota to be near family.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

She leaves behind her siblings; nieces; nephews; and many cousins.
