Todd Krumm, age 53, of Volga, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Brookview Manor in Brookings. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at First Lutheran Church in Volga with burial in the church cemetery. Visitations will be on Friday from 5:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. at Eidsness Funeral Chapel in Volga. Todd Eugene Krumm was born March 16,1960 in Volga, South Dakota to Melvin "Dutch" and Deloris (Egeberg) Krumm. Todd attended Sioux Valley Schools in Volga and graduated in 1978. He was a baptized and confirmed member of First Lutheran Church in Volga. Todd spent most of his adult life as an over-the-road truck driver traveling across the country and seeing many beautiful sites along the way. His independent spirit and love for traveling made truck driving more than just a career, but true enjoyment. He also worked for DM&E Railroad from 1995-2002. He was most recently employed by Johnson Feed, Inc. in Canton, South Dakota until his illness forced him to retire in August, 2012. Todd married Rhonda Ahnberg in Volga in 1989. He enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles along with spending time with family and friends. Todd is survived by his father, Melvin of Volga; two sisters, Carla (Randy) Blaisdell of Verona, Wisconsin and Jennifer (Chris) Jackson of Lincoln, Nebraska; one nephew, Bryan Blaisdell of Verona, WI and three nieces; Kelli Blaisdell of Verona, WI; Madeline and Emily Jackson of Lincoln, Nebraska. Todd is also survived by 7 aunts, 3 uncles and 44 cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deloris Krumm, 9 uncles, 4 aunts and 5 cousins.
