Tehlula Lee Thompson, 6 week old daughter of Jack and Marjoanne Thompson, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, in Brookings. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 3, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church in Brookings, with interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
Tehlula was born May 9, 2010, in Brookings. Survivors include her parents, Jack and Marjoanne Thompson, of Brookings; a sister, Lily; grandparents: Tess Schmidt of Pierre, Jack L. Thompson of Brookings, and Marvin and JoAnne Ovall of Astoria; great-grandparents: Harriette Zimmer of Belle Fourche, Roselia Schmidt of Onaka, SD, and Dante and Lucrecia Fernandez of the Philippines; uncles and aunts: Eric Schmidt of Sioux Falls, Wendy Thompson of Loveland, CO, Tim Thompson of Brookings, Mick Thompson of Brookings, and Catherine Jones of Cocoa Beach, FL; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Schmidt.
