Steven Martinson, 69, of Brookings, passed away on September 21, 2022, at his home.  No formal services are planned at this time.  Eidsness Funeral Home is assisting the Martinson family with arrangements.

Steven Joseph Martinson was born on April 14, 1953, to Aaron "Marty" and Maxine "Mickey' (Gillen) Martinson.  Steve was an avid reader who loved science fiction novels as well as putting together puzzles.  He will be remembered for his wonderful smile and amazing sense of humor.

Steve is survived by his brothers, Mark (Lori) Martinson, of Volga, and Larry (Lisa) Martinson, of Ponca City, OK; and many nieces and nephews, particularly his beloved niece Tasha (Rick) Passenheim.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Aaron "Marty" and Maxine "Mickey" Martinson; and his sisters, Lori Jagger and Lynette Martinson.
