Sally Kay Roth, age 59, of Brookings, died recently at her home after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 29, 2016, at First Lutheran Church in Volga. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Eidsness Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Sally was born May 8, 1956, in Volga, SD, to Sylvan and Arlene (Nelson) Granum.   She graduated from Sioux Valley High School in 1973. Sally married Danny G. Roth on June 14, 1985. She adopted his three daughters; Lisa Barrett, Rachel Hodell, and Amie Moberg. They later divorced in January of 2006.

Sally worked for Rainbow Play Systems for many years. She also worked at MTR. Sally liked to embroider towels and complete puzzles. She especially liked time spent at the lake.

Survivors include her mother, Arlene Granum of Volga; brothers, Gerald (Kathi) Granum of Volga, Rick (Dorothy) Granum of Brookings, and Ron Granum of Volga; sister, Judy (Warren) Stokes of Bruce and numerous nieces and nephews. Sally was preceded in death by her father, Sylvan; significant other, Reid Vincent; sister-in-law, Pamela Granum; and niece, Melissa Granum.
