Ruth Shoukry Miller, age 98, passed away June 3, 2025, at Agrace HospiceCare. Ruth was born on July 30, 1926, to Raymond and Ethel Wolfe in St. Joseph, IL. She attended a country school (Peters) and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1944. Ruth received her Bachelor and Master's degrees in education from the University of Illinois. She taught kindergarten for ten years. On Sept. 7, 1957, she married Zaher Shoukry. He died Jan 12, 1978. Ruth married Clyde Miller Feb. 25, 1984. He passed away Jan. 6, 2000.

Ruth is survived by two children, Jill (Ron) Stohr, and Marc (Brenda) Shoukry, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, a sister, Elizabeth Fippen, and a brother Richard Wolfe.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the Winn Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee, WI 53597, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Brookings, SD at 9:00 am on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
