Alvin was persistent, and eventually Ruby and Alvin were married at Ruby's parents' home in Gilby on June 24, 1938. Alvin passed away February 27, 1982. Ruby was a charter member of P.E.O. Chapter BP, formed on April 13, 1954, and she held several offices over the years. She was also a member of the Keystone Study Club and First Lutheran Church circles. She loved to golf, read, prepare income tax returns, and entertain. Ruby is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three sisters: Myrtle, Gladys, and Ethel.
