Robert Harlan Hoines, age 76, of Brookings, passed away on Saturday September 4, 2021.  No services are planned.

Bob was born on February 1, 1945, to Merlin and Signe (Spave) Hoines.  He attended school in Britton, South Dakota, as well as various colleges attaining many degrees.  He was a member of First Lutheran Church and several local organizations.

Survivors include his son, Steven; JoAnn (Charles) Fiala; brothers: Wayne (Carol) Hoines; and 6 nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his spouse; parents; one brother; and his partner, who he loved dearly.

Bob will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
