On September 29, 2020, @ 9:08 A.M., the sun rose for Prince Kai Sails. He was a baby too perfect for this world.

Prince, a beautiful baby boy, was born at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls at 24 weeks of age weighing 1 pound 6 ounces. He put up a valiant fight, but God called his angel home. The sun set for him at 2:57 A.M. on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Sharing love for him are his parents, Journey Clemons and Deion Sails; his beautiful big sister, Athena Skye Sails; his grandparents, Dan (Beth) Winters, and Leon (Candi) Sails; great-grandparents, Alan (Marlene) Buskrud and Darleen Cuppy; and his aunts and uncles: Olivia Bechmann Rhye, Lanton, and Stryker Clemons, Tiara Sails, Evan Sails, Justin Tucker, Lesley Blane, Tameka O'Neal, and Tiara Williams.

Private family services will be held at Eidsness Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Avera NICU.
