Paul David Hofer, age 63, of Aberdeen and formerly of rural Flandreau, died Monday, September 1, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen. Visitations will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Flandreau. Paul was born September 7, 1951, to David and Justina Hofer. He married Adina Wollman on July 15, 1973, at Graceville, MN. They were blessed with eight lovely children. Survivors include his wife Adina Hofer; children: Alma (Mike) and their children, Lyndon, Heidi, and Christopher; Daryl (Tanya) and their children, Boaz and Jubilee; Josie; Stephanie (Joey) and their children Benjamin, Micah, Timothy, and Aaron; Pauline (James) and their children, Elaine, Isaiah, Mariah, Nicolas, and Jaxon; Sarah (Dean) and their son, Liam; Marian (Bob) and their son, Tyler; David (Natalie) and their children, Rachel, Heidi and Joseph; two brothers; and ten sisters. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Paul had uncountable relatives and friends and will be missed by all.
