Nellie Wilson, age 93, of Volga, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the Lake Norden Care and Rehabilitation Center.  Memorial services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 21, 2018, at First Lutheran Church in Volga with burial to follow in First Lutheran Cemetery. Visitations will be one hour prior to the memorial service. Eidsness Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Nellie was born on July 28, 1925, to Sipke and Jennie (Nagelhout) Post in Volga, South Dakota. She was raised in Volga, and received her education from Volga High School. She graduated in 1943. Nellie married John Wilson, and they lived in the Volga area their entire lives. John passed away in April of 1974. They were blessed with seven children; Carol (Harold) VanHoepen, Donald (Donna), Robert (Margaret), Gary, Dorothy (Greg) VanMaanen, and twin sons, Keith and Kevin (Deanna).

Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, John; and sons, Donald and Gary. Survivors include her children, Carol, Robert, Dorothy, Keith, and Kevin; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
