Michael C. Kidwiler, age 54, of White, died Sunday, June 27, 2004, of injuries received in a motor-vehicle accident in Montana. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in White, with Rev. Terry Martin officiating. Visitations will be from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday at the church. Michael C. Kidwiler was born April 7, 1950, at Worthington, Minnesota, to Stan and Helen Kidwiler. Mikes family moved to the Brookings area when he was in grade school. He graduated from Brookings High School in 1968 and attended South Dakota State University. He married Mary Meisenhelder on April 7, 1972, at Hartford, South Dakota. Mike worked for the Animal and Range Sciences Department at SDSU for twenty-two years and in recent years had been a sales representative and animal health consultant for Pfizer Animal Health, PhiBro Animal Health and McFleeg Feeds. Mike was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Chairman of Brookings County Planning Commission, and member of South Dakota Pork Producers and South Dakota Master Pork Producers. He enjoyed horse riding and raising quarter horses. He was an avid hunter. Mike especially enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. He is survived by his wife, Mary of White; a son, Jason, of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Jennifer (Craig) Olson, of Astoria; two grandsons, Nicholas and Ethan; his mother, Helen Kidwiler, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; a sister, Mary Moritz, of Brownsdale, Minnesota; a brother, Pat (Susie), of Laramie, Wyoming; and nieces and nephews.
