Maxine I. Rauch, age 78, of Aurora, died Saturday, July 30, 2005, at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 6, 2005, at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings, with interment at Trinity Cemetery at Volga. Visitations will be from 4-8 P.M. Friday at Eidsness Funeral Home. Maxine Irene (Brelsford) Rauch was born February 6, 1927, at Brookings, South Dakota to Floyd and Alvira (Johnson) Brelsford. She attended grade school at Bushnell and high school in Brookings. On June 5, 1964, she married Dale Rauch at Brookings. Maxine worked as a nursing home aide. Maxine enjoyed watching television, flower gardening, and fishing. Survivors include her husband, Dale Rauch, of Aurora; and a daughter, Dawn K. Rauch, of Ankeny, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Doris Johnson.
