Mary Lang, age 81, of Elkton, died on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the United Parish of Elkton, with interment in the Elkton City Cemetery. Visitations will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at the Eidsness-Zink Funeral Chapel in Elkton. Mary Lou Lang was born January 16, 1933, in Primghar, Iowa. She grew up in Cherokee, Iowa, and graduated from high school there in 1951. She married Glenn Lang on July 11, 1952, at White, South Dakota. The couple moved to a farm near Elkton in March 1955. Mary was a member of the United Parish of Elkton and the UPW, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Hobby Club. She enjoyed sewing and especially spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Glenn, of Elkton; a son, Bruce W. (Linda) Lang of Pine Haven, Wyoming, two daughters: Barbara A. Lang and Sandra D. (Todd) Schulz, both of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; four grandchildren: Rebecca, Amanda, Mariah, and Josiah; and a sister, Rose Marie Mordick, of Sheldon, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jean.
