Mable Moen died peacefully Monday, December 3, 2012 at Brookview Manor at the age of 94. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings with interment in First Lutheran Cemetery at Volga. Mable was born on October 15, 1918 to Robert and Nellie (Owens) Larson in Castlewood, SD. She married Ray Moen on September 21, 1973 in Sinai, SD. Mable was a member of the Brookings V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Sinai Lutheran Church. She will be missed by family and friends. Mable was preceded in death by her husband Ray Moen, sister and brother in law Virginia and Albert Alexander, brother and sister in law Emery and Jean Larson. She is survived be her nephews Kenneth, Jerald, and Allen Alexander, nephew Tom and niece Ann Larson. Mable is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and special friend, Velda Cappel. The family would like to thank all the special people that helped Mable on this final journey and the staff of Brookview Manor for making her last days comfortable.
