Loys L. Justice, age 79, of Brookings, died Monday, September 15, 2014, at The Neighborhoods at Brookview. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Eidsness Funeral Home, with interment and military rites at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitations will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday at Eidsness Funeral Home. Loys Leland Justice was born December 3, 1934, at Brookings, South Dakota, to Arthur and Etola (Fenn) Justice. He attended District No. 1 country school and graduated from Brookings High School in 1952. He served in the U. S. Army from June until December of 1957 and then was called to service again from January until August of 1962. Loys farmed near Brookings until his retirement. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading western novels. Survivors include two sisters: Janice Justice of Brookings, and Fern (Lloyd) Wallace of Belle Fourche, South Dakota; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Duane; four half-brothers: Leonard, Ralph, Glenn, and George Schrader; and a half-sister, Valda Rossman.
