Lori J. Jagger, age 56, of Brookings, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at her residence in Brookings. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings. Interment of cremated remains will be at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Brookings. Lori Jean (Martinson) Jagger was born April 13, 1958, at Dell Rapids, South Dakota, to Aaron C. "Marty" and Maxine E. "Mickey" (Gillen) Martinson. She attended school in Howard and graduated from Sioux Valley High School in Volga in 1976. She worked for the Wayside Motel and at the United Retirement Center. Lori was a caring and understanding person. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her four children: Shawn Drewes of Brookings, Tasha (Rick) Passenheim of Brookings, Aaryn Jagger of Brookings, and Casey (Heather) Drewes of Madison, South Dakota; three brothers: Steve Martinson of Brookings, Larry (Lisa) Martinson of Canton, Oklahoma, and Mark (Lori) Martinson of Brookings; six grandchildren: Austin, Marlee, Devin, Hannah, Ava, and Autumn; and her best friend, Cindy Dixon, of Aurora, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Lynette, and her parents.
