Leonard K. Tolk, age 56, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died September 13, 2009, at his home in Albuquerque. Memorial services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at First Lutheran Church in Brookings, with interment in the church cemetery.

Leonard Kenneth Tolk was born March 21, 1953, at Hendricks, Minnesota, to Leonard and Ann (Brodersen) Tolk. He attended grade and high school in Elkton, and graduated from Elkton High School in 1971. He moved to San Diego, attended college, lived in Oakland, California, for a time, and then moved to Albuquerque where he has resided for about the last ten years. Lenny worked in computer software development and programming, a job which took him to many places in the world. He enjoyed travel and sightseeing, and driving nice cars.

Survivors include his mother, Ann Tolk, of Brookings; two brothers: Jack (Linda) Tolk of Estelline, South Dakota, and Terry (Bonnie) Tolk of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; two sisters: LeAnn (Jim) Miezwa of Lake City, Minnesota, and Rhonda (Jay III) Hodge of Thousand Oaks, California; five nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; and a host of friends in many countries. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Kirby.
