Kingsley N. Jensen, age 84, of Arlington, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at the Beverly Healthcare Center in Arlington, South Dakota. Masonic memorial services have been postponed to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Garfield Masonic Lodge in Arlington. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials. Kingsley Niel Jensen was born September 23, 1921, near Arlington, South Dakota, to Andrew and Alvina (Callesen) Jensen. He attended country school east of Badger, South Dakota, and a year of high school in Arlington. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 until 1945 when he returned to Arlington to farm with his family. He retired from farming in 1980. On January 1, 1984, Kingsley married Marcia Gorath at the Badger Lutheran Church. Following their marriage, the Jensens operated the Pheasant Motel in Arlington. Kingsley was a lifetime member of the Badger Lutheran Church. He belonged to the Arlington Investment Club for over 40 years. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., D.A.V., and Garfield Masonic Lodge Number 28. Survivors include his wife, Marcia, of Arlington, South Dakota, and a sister, Betty Taylor, of Aberdeen, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and his daughter Sarah Jane in 1993.
