Kenneth Michael Bickley Sr., 62, of Bruce, South Dakota, died on Saturday, March 16, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Ascension Lutheran Church in Brookings. Visitation will be 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Thursday at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings. Ken was born on September 1, 1950, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Joseph and Alma Dean (Holcomb) Bickley. After receiving his education, he was employed as a truck driver for over forty years and most recently for Kreyger Trucking. On August 8, 1984, Ken married Susanna Landers in Sioux Falls, SD. At the time of his death, Ken was employed for AAA City Cab in Brookings. Ken is survived by his mother, Alma Dean Bickley of Kansas City; wife, Sue Bickley of Bruce; his children, Kim Marie (Rewa) Bailey and Kenneth Bickley, Jr. both of Denver, Desiree Bickley and Lanie Lemberg of Estelline, Paul Fish Bickley and Patrick (Laurie) Fish both of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Dalton Bailey of Denver, Lanie Lemberg, Jr. and expected Michael Brady Lemberg of Estelline, Daniel Fish, Thomas Fish and Dustin Bickley all of Sioux Falls; one aunt, Allis Thomas of Kansas City; cousins, Patty (Tom) Sprinkle and Paula Langdon of Kansas City and honorary brothers, Morgan Putnam, Wendell Phillips and Craig Morrison. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Bickley. In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
