June Moe, age 91, of Brookings, died Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at Brookview Manor in Brookings. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 21, at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings, with interment at First Lutheran Cemetery. Visitations will be from 4-8 P.M. Thursday at Eidsness Funeral Home. June Lucille (Deball) Moe was born June 20, 1915, at Pipestone, Minnesota, to Albert Rudolph and Anna Charlotte (Price) Deball. She was baptized at the Methodist church in Pipestone. On September 19, 1933, she married Benhard Moe at Salem, South Dakota. The couple lived at Bushnell until 1963, when they moved to Wentworth. Benhard died March 1, 1982. June was a resident at Brookview Manor since August 2002. June enjoyed gardening, fishing, and her cats. Survivors include her six children: Helen Krein of Brookings, Donna DeVries of Flandreau, Joan Krein of Tuttle, North Dakota, Larry Moe of Madison, Ron Swede (Mary) Moe of Volga, and Glen Moe of Madison; 27 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Jeannie Larson of Garden Grove, California, and Florene Johnson of Pipestone, Minnesota.
