Jordan Hochstein, age 21, of White, died Friday, August 27, 2010, of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident near White. Funeral mass will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at St. Pauls Catholic Church in White. Visitations will be from 5:00 to 7:30 P.M. Monday at the church with a prayer service at 7:30 P.M.

Jordan David Hochstein was born November 2, 1988, at Yankton, South Dakota, to Leonce and Sherry (Hochstein) Mayfield, Jr. He attended Deubrook Public School until 2004. He attended Woodward Academy in Iowa and returned to White where he was employed. He enjoyed tinkering with vehicles, music, poetry, & being with friends & family.

Survivors include his parents, Sherry Dahl-Anderson and Jim Anderson of White;four brothers: Darrell Hochstein of Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, Clayton Dahl of White South Dakota, Michael Mayfieldof Louisiana & Brandon Mayfield of Louisiana;four sisters: Lori (Adriel) Scott of White, Tessa Dahl of White, Diane Bates of Louisiana & Margaret Mayfield of Texas; grandparents: Bob Anderson, of White, and Dick and Karen Hochstein of Crofton, Nebraska; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his birth father, Leonce Mayfield, Jr.; and grandparents: Mavis Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Leonce Mayfield, Sr.
