Jeffrey Egeberg, 59, of Madison, formerly of Volga, SD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at First Lutheran Cemetery in Volga, SD at 11:00 A.M.  Pastor Teri Johnson will be officiating.  Eidsness Funeral Home is assisting the Egeberg family with arrangements.

Jeffrey Egeberg was born on January 24, 1963, in Brookings, SD.  He attended school in Volga, SD, graduating from Sioux Valley High School, and later SDSU with a BS degree.  Throughout his life Jeff greatly enjoyed riding his Harley's, hunting and trapping, and various sports.  He also loved animals.  Perhaps his greatest joy in life, Jeff especially cherished time spent with his family.

Jeff is survived by his father, Gary (Gloria) Egeberg, of Volga; mother, Janet (Hugh) Randall, of Bruce; sister, Kristina (Kent) Resmen; brother, Josh Egeberg, of Pierre; special friend, Tammy; and family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Greg Egeberg; infant sister, Jennifer; and his grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, Jeff's family requests that memorial donations be directed to the Brookings Regional Humane Society.
