Isaac Scot Hemmestad, age 7 months, died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome on Friday, February 15, 2008, at the Brookings Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 19, at First Lutheran Church in Volga, with interment in the church cemetery. Visitations will be from 5-8 P.M. Monday at Eidsness Funeral Chapel in Volga. Isaac Scot Hemmestad was born June 28, 2007, in Brookings to Jason and Amber Hemmestad. He is survived by his parents and sister, Morgan, of Volga; grandparents: Tim Duran of Ipswich, South Dakota, and Sherry Duran of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Steven Hemmestad of Volga; and Steph and Sandy Lebert of Volga; great-grandparents: Ben and Elizabeth Duran of Pueblo, Colorado; step-great-grandparents, LaFoy and Lloyd Tesch of Watertown, South Dakota; and aunts and uncles: Ryan Hemmestad, Sarah Duran, Zach Duran, Chris Lebert, Carri Lebert, and Jamie Lebert.
