Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 9, 2009 at Immanuel Lutheran Church for Hazel Senora Hamrick, age 86, of Roswell, who passed away on January 5, 2009 at Roswell Regional Hospital. Rev. Daniel Praeuner will officiate with interment to take place at Bergh Cemetery in Volga, South Dakota.

Hazel was born December 2, 1922 in Lisbon, North Dakota to Jacob and Emma Jacobson, they both have preceded her in death.

Hazel married Joseph W.S. Hamrick on November 25, 1946 in Brookings, South Dakota. He has also preceded her in death.

Hazel had 41 years in Banking and Real Estate Lending Operations. She retired from The First National Bank of Boulder, CO as a Assistant Vice President in Real Estate Lending and Construction Operations in 1981. Hazel was a past member of Beta Sigma Phi, National Association of Bank Women, National Association of Insurance Women, and Associated Member of Real Estate Women. Hazel was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Roswell.

Hazel is survived by Niece Elaine Deaton and Great Niece Julie Deaton of Roswell, also surviving are nine nephews: Jerome, Steve, Mark, Gene, Richard, Ronnie, Richard, James and Tommy; four nieces: Janet, Debbie, Karen and Janell.
