Flora Jean Aby, age 55, died Thursday, October 30,  2008, at the Brookings Hospital, Brookings, South Dakota.  Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, November 3, at the Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings, with the Reverend Timothy Rynearson officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will precede the service at 2:30 p.m.

Flora Jean Aby was born August 28, 1953 in Lawrence County, South Dakota.  Flora spent the early years of her life in Redfield, South Dakota, where she attended classes at SDDC Redfield.  In 1985 she moved to Brookings, where she lived and worked at ADVANCE.

Flora enjoyed attending Friendship Circle, cooking, playing games, spending time with friends, getting her hair done, camping, shopping, going to movies, and listening to music.  She brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.

Grateful for having shared her life are her family and friends at ADVANCE.  She will be deeply missed by all, especially her family at 509.
