Obituary

Evan F. Bud Coyle, age 63, died Monday, September 1, 2003, at his home in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 8, at Eidsness Funeral Chapel in White, with interment and military rites at Fairview Cemetery at White. Visitations will precede services at the funeral chapel on Monday. Evan Fredrick Coyle was born July 21, 1940, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Norman and Virginia Coyle. He graduated from high school in 1958 then attended two yars of community college until being drafted into the army. He served in the Vietnam War and was awarded a medal for acts of bravery. Following the war, he returned to the Kansas City area and attended an electronics college where he earned an engineering degree. He worked at Electronic Research Company from 1974 until 2001 designing oscillators. On October 13, 1990, he married Phyllis Meisenheimer at Independence, Missouri. He was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Temple. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, of Kansas City, Missouri; his mother, Virginia Bushard and step-father Tom Bushard of Kansas City; a sister, JoAnn (Don) Stream, of Manchester, Missouri; a brother, Dennis (Sue) Coyle of Portland, Oregon; three step-daughters: Brenda (Frank) Vermeire of Columbus, Nebraska, Tammy (Brad) Nelson of Lake Preston, South Dakota; and Sheila (Richard) Weiss of Imperial, Nebraska; five step-grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
