Eileen M. Roth, age 83, of Sioux Falls, died Thursday, April 27, 2006, at Southridge Health Care in Sioux Falls. Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2006,in the Sacred Heart Chapel at St. Josephs Cathedral in Sioux Falls, with interment in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery at Elkton, South Dakota. Eileen M. Roth was born July 30, 1922, at Woonsocket, South Dakota, to Julius George and Lota (Knieriem) Roth. She attended grade school at Spencer, South Dakota. In 1940, she moved with her family to Elkton, where she graduated from high school. Eileen worked in a grocery store in Sioux Falls until her retirement. Survivors include a brother, Ralph (Elaine) Roth, of Mitchell, South Dakota; and a sister, Marian F. (James) Alberts of Glen Rock, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gene, and a sister, Donna.
