Edward Nowlin, age 60, of Aurora, South Dakota, died Friday, February 10, 2017, at his residence in Aurora.  Memorial services will be 2:00PM, Monday, February 13, 2017, at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings.  Visitation will be Monday from 1:00PM until time of service at Eidsness Funeral Home.

Edward received his education in Kadoka, SD and was a graduate of the Kadoka High School.  After receiving his education he was employed at Cyclone Drilling Co, in Wyoming, before attending SDSU where he received his B.S. degree in Veterinary Science.  He work for a few years at East Central Mental Health in Brookings as a counselor.   After his retirement he lived in Aurora and managed a local trailer court.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, and going for long rides in the country.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Edward is survived by two brothers, Patrick (Donna) Nowlin of Stoughton, WI, Richard "Dick" Nowlin of Princeton, WI, one sister Janice Nowlin of Kadoka, SD, and a special friend Peggy Gries of Aurora, SD.
