Obituary

Donna was born August 12, 1933, in Elkton, SD, the daughter of Benjamin and Mildred (Bebensee) Youngmon.   She died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at The Neighborhoods at Brookview in Brookings, South Dakota. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Monday, August 14, 2017, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Brookings, with visitations one hour prior to the services.

Donna received her education in the Brookings Schools and was a graduate of Brookings High School in 1951. She later attended General Beadle College in Madison for a short time, before receiving her teaching certificate. She then taught rural school in Brookings County for one year.   Donna was married to John Lienemann on February 28, 1953. After raising her family, she was employed on a part-time basis at various places in the Salem community.

Donna was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Brookings, and was active on the Stewardship committee and served as a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed sewing, baking and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children: Michael (Sandy) Lienemann of Lake City, FL, Steven (Barbara) Lienemann of Morris, MN, Gregory (Gayle) Lienemann of Denver, CO, Jill Lienemann of North Richland Hills, TX, Kimberly Ramaker of Rosemount, MN; seven grandchildren: Chris, Phil, Beth, Patrick, Stephanie, Ashley, and Samantha; five great-grandchildren: Zoe, Owen, Alexis, Aaron and Emma; and one brother Larry (Mary) Youngmon of Sioux Falls, SD.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents.
