Dilly Munch, 85, formerly of Sioux Falls, died on Friday, July 19, 2013 at her home in Brookings. Family present visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Brookings First Assembly of God Church. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, also at the Church. Graveside services will begin at 2:30 PM Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls. Dilly Rozeboom was born on April 4, 1928 in Lyon County Iowa near Alvord to Leendert and Hattie (Vander Weide) Rozeboom. As a young girl her family moved to a farm near Inwood, IA. On July 17, 1952 Dilly was united in marriage with Russell A. Munch in Canton, SD. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls. Russell died on April 8, 1983. Dilly worked at John Morrell and Company for 6 years. In 1966 she began her 26 year career at Sioux Valley Hospital retiring in 1992. In her retirement she kept busy cleaning houses and volunteering. Dilly made her home in Brookings, SD in 2000. She enjoyed crocheting, playing the organ, but most of all loved spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed. Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Cheryl Vogelzang; 3 granddaughters, Delliree (Andrew) Aadland, Chandra Vogelzang, and Linnea (Kelly)Brown; 6 great-grandchildren, Dayliah, Isaiah, Elijah, Mathias, Ruby and Omega; brother, William Rozeboom, Rock Valley, IA; sister, Dena Erickson, Rock Valley, IA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leendert & Hattie Rozeboom; husband, Russell Munch; two brothers, Lane and Dick Rozeboom; and sister, Gertrude Dykstra.
