Obituary
David W. Cannaday passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, of complications from gall bladder cancer. A memorial gathering will be held from 3-5 P.M. Sunday at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings.
David was born April 3, 1956, in Los Angeles, California. His parents were Rolland and Ruby (Tavalaro) Cannaday. David came to Brookings in 1996 when he met his wife Renee. David and Renee (Pratt) were married August 29, 1997, in Brookings.
Survivors include his wife, Renee, his best friend and buddy; a son, Jerimiah Cannaday; granddaughter, Maya Cannaday; sister, Diane (George) Coons; brother, John Cannaday; step-sister, Tina; step-brother, Frank; and many nieces and nephews in California. He was always thankful for his in-laws Robin and Mel Dutt ; Deb & Terry Kopecky family; Dave and Nancy Pratt family; Randy and Desiree Pratt family and mom Marene Pratt.
