David Albert, 68, of Brookings, South Dakota, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018, at the United Living Community in Brookings. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 14, 2018, at Eidsness Funeral Home with burial to follow in First Lutheran Cemetery at Brookings.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.

David Gale Albert was born on September 13, 1950, in Oakland, Maryland. He was the son of the late Daliey Nelson Albert and Ruth Elaine Stewart. David was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jordan Bruce Gollin.

David enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Fike Albert of Brookings; two daughters: Kelly Rea, of Lincoln, NE, and Kerry Kothe, of Volga, SD; one son, David M. Albert Greeley, of NE; two brothers: Ronald Stewart and Robert Albert, both of Oakland, MD; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
