Darlene Faye Fellon, age 86, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the United Living Community in Brookings, SD. A private family Memorial Service will be held.

Darlene was born August 26, 1939, during the heart of the depression in Lennox, SD, the daughter of Albert and Hattie (Schniederman) Nuttbrock. From Lennox, SD she moved to a farm in Willow Lake, SD. “That’s the farmer in me”, graduated high school, the “Pirates” in 1957. 1958, graduated from Stewarts Beauty School. 1959, opened Dar’s Beaty Salon in Huron, SD. 1962, she married Donald LeRoy Fellon. 1970, moved to Prior Lake, MN where she received her Real Estate License. 1980, April 6, unexpected, Donald passed away with a heart attack.

2001, I now am 61 years of age. God works in mysterious ways. Received a call from my Soul Mate: William Phillips, whom I had not heard from in over 50 years. Living in Florida, we lived together for 14 years, becoming the significant other and caregiver. God’s Plan! 2014, William “Bill” Phillips died on April 21. 2018, Now living at 609 Heritage Drive, in Brookings, SD.

In My final chapter of life, Jesus pilots my ship one day at a time!
