Cynthia L. "Cindy" Schulz, age 52, of Brookings, died Friday, August 12, 2011, at Golden Living Center in Lake Norden, after battling brain cancer. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at the Bible Baptist Church in Brookings, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Brookings. Visitations will be from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday, at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings. Cynthia Louise Schulz was born June 28, 1959, at Brookings, South Dakota, to John A. and Rosemary (Miller) Schulz. She attended school in Brookings and worked as a dishwasher for 30 years. Cindy attended Bible Baptist Church in Brookings. She enjoyed collecting various valuable things, photography, and had a great love of nature. Survivors include her father, John A. Schulz of Lake Norden, South Dakota; two sisters: Perri (Arnold) Anderson of Arlington, South Dakota, and Laurie Schulz of Viborg, South Dakota; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary Schulz; her brother, John Charles Ross Schulz; and all her grandparents.
