Craig Schotzko, age 77 of Sioux Falls, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Sanford USD Medical Center. Visitation will be from 1-2 P.M. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Miller West Funeral Chapel (6200 West 41st Street, Sioux Falls).  Burial will follow at 3:45 P.M. at Sterling Cemetery, rural Brookings, SD.

Craig was born on March 16, 1947, to Aelred and Sylvia (Bernloehr) Schotzko in Tyler, MN.  He attended school in Tyler and graduated from Tyler High School.  After high school, Craig attended SDSU in Brookings and received his Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.  Craig also faithfully served his country from 1974-1977 in the United States Army.

While attending SDSU, Craig met Rochelle Moen.  The couple were married in Brookings in 1970, and in 1978, they moved to Sioux Falls where Craig lived until the time of his death.

Craig enjoyed the outdoors, especially being on the lake fishing.  He would also spend many days walking the Western Mall.  Craig had a passion for restoring old cars and for watching SDSU sports.

Survivors include his daughters, Stefanie Schotzko and Stacy (Dan) Helmbrecht, both of Sioux Falls; grandchildren, Kendra and Lauren Helmbrecht; and siblings, Ann (Larry) Wobig and Kevin (Pam) Schotzko both of Minnesota.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Rochelle in 2018.
