Cora Van Dyke, 94, of Elkton, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at the Dow Rummel Village in Sioux Falls, SD.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the Christian Reformed Church in Holland, MN, at 10:00 A.M.  Burial will immediately follow the service at the Holland Cemetery in Holland, MN.  Visitation will be held the evening prior, Friday, July 8, 2022, at Eidsness Funeral Chapel in Elkton, SD, from 6:00 until 8:30 P.M.  Eidsness Funeral Home is assisting the Van Dyke family with arrangements.

Cora Van Dyke was born on February 2, 1928, in Beaver Creek, MN, to Gilbert and Grace (Vander Wal) Kuyper. She was raised on a farm in the Edgerton, MN area where she attended Edgerton Christian School.  The family later moved to Holland, MN and Cora attended school through the 8 ^th grade.  On February 20, 1949, she was united in marriage to Fred Van Dyke at the Christian Reformed Church in Holland, MN.  Following their marriage, the couple farmed in the Holland-Ruthton area until 1956, when they began farming near Elkton, SD.  Cora lived a life of faith.  She worked very hard while raising six children.  Blessed be her memory.

Cora is survived by her children: Gary (Val) Van Dyke, of Elkton, SD, Dennis (Jeanne) Van Dyke, of Brookings, SD, Calvin (Jen) Van Dyke, of Brandon, SD, and Marietta Van Dyke of Baltic, SD; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Van Dyke; her daughters, Karen and Linda; her sister, Minnie; her brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Lola Kuyper; and  Gilbert and Wilhelmina Kuyper.
