Claire Louise Lindsay, age 82, of White, died Friday, February 18, 2005, at the White Healthcare Center, after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimers disease. She had been a resident of the White Healthcare Center for the past four years. Louise was born in Duluth, Minnesota, to Ernest Paul and Clara (Wagner) Samuelson. She attended grade school and graduated from high school in Morgan Park addition of Duluth. She married Calvin P. Lindsay on October 4, 1947. She was a loving mother and devoted wife who was always there when her family needed her. Survivors include a daughter, Laura (Gary) Wilts, of White, South Dakota; and a son, James Lindsay; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Patricia. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Duluth, Minnesota.
