IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christopher John
Pearson
July 6, 1989 – November 21, 2025
Christopher John Pearson, 36, of Brookings, SD, passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2025. Chris was born on July 6, 1989, and from the very beginning he brought an unmistakable light and humor to the world.
Chris was first and foremost a family man. Being a dad and a husband wasn't just something he did—it was who he was. His greatest joy was found in the ordinary moments with his family: laughing at the silliest things and turning even the simplest day into a memory.
Anyone who spent five minutes with Chris knew his sense of humor was his superpower. He had an endless supply of dad jokes—most of them bad, all of them delivered with absolute confidence. His laugh was unforgettable: big, contagious, and the kind that took over a whole room.
He had a memory like no one else. Chris could quote a million movie lines, recite lyrics to almost any song, and pull out a joke or reference for almost any situation.
Chris leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and who will feel his absence every day. His legacy will live on in his laughter, his humor, his kindness, and the countless memories he made with those fortunate enough to know him.
He will be remembered, missed, and loved always.
He is survived by his wife, Kendra, his three children Oaklee, Whitaker, and Lorelei his parents Nancy Lentz (George Jewell) and Shane Clarambeau (Jody), his sister Jessica Pearson, brother Cody Clarambeau (Miriam), brother Jalen Carter, and we absolutely cannot forget his loyal canine, Jethro :)
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Constance Schaub, Harold and Lee Clarambeau, and Audrey and Darrell Gilman
