Obituary

Crazy, but that's how it goes. Christine Rebekah Nail passed away peacefully at home, under hospice, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 25, 1975 at Hill AFB, Utah. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and life of the party. She spent her grade school years in Pocatello, Idaho and moved to Oceanside, California in 1987 where she met her lifelong best friends Christi Luck, Michele Kostedt and Shannon Thompson.  Her entertaining sense of humor combined with her sassy attitude earned her the reputation of being simply hilarious. She held several dance parties in her car, and sang out loud to her own well placed lyrics, from rap songs to Broadway tunes. She won the hearts of many with her contagious smile, nurturing spirit and being the well-intended target of her witty sarcasm.

She moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1999 where worked toward her dreams of becoming a mother. She became a foster parent and adopted her first child. Her dream of being a wife came true when she married Todd Nail on December 1st, 2012. Their adventures took them from Minnesota to Ohio and the sweet addition of their second child.  Her greatest joy was of that of being a wife and a mother. In fact, her mothering spirit extended to everyone, whether they liked it or not. She was a lover of people, of B movies and nightgowns. Christine had a heart for helping others, which was evident in her jobs as a nanny, marketing administrator for Plaza Camino Real, 911 operator and helped open two thrift stores. Her zest for life, strong faith and love of Jesus shone in her love of mentoring girls youth groups, reaching out to others and being the hostess with the mostest.

Christine lived life out loud. She had sweet memories of Mexicali, church camps, She was notorious for her sarcastic humor, infectious laugh, and love of Ben and Jerry's Ice cream. She was inherently creative, an accomplished baker of adorably decorated cookies and a thrifting enthusiast. Christine's many talents included belting out showtunes, Facebook stalking and teasing people she loved.

There is a void in the world as large as Christine's personality and she will be greatly missed by the many people who loved her. Christine was survived by her husband Todd Nail, her son Maxwell (12) and her daughter Winnie, (2). She was also survived by her parents, Dusty and Annette Lint, her father in law and mother in law, Sharon and Beecher, her sisters Melody Dixon (Bearon), Kimberly Kiernan (Mike), and Casey Lint. Also survived by her nieces and nephews; Noah, Valarie, Eleanore and Gillian Dixon, Kaleigh, Abagail, Eliana and Isabella Kiernan, and her best friend Shannon Thompson. Proceeded in death by her sister, Brittnee Lint.

Christine and her family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Heartland Hospice, Riverside Methodist 7 yellow, and Dr. Kelly Rath and her staff.

Many other people have impacted and touched her life in many ways.
