Carol Ann Styf, 77, died on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Brookings Health Care in Brookings, SD.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am, on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at United Parish Church in Elkton, SD.  Visitations will be from 5pm until 7pm, Friday, August 3, at the Eidsness Funeral Chapel in Elkton, SD.

Carol was born on December 23, 1940, in Ruthton, MN, the daughter of Jens and Gladys (Campbell) Jensen.  She attended rural school in District #46, in Brookings County, SD.  Carol was united in marriage to John Styf on June 2, 1963, in Elkton.  After their marriage they farmed until 1984, when they moved into Elkton.  John died on December 9, 1999, in Hendricks, MN.

Carol was a member of the United Parish Church in Elkton.  She enjoyed mowing yards, gardening and working on puzzles.  She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Jim (Rosalie) Styf of Aurora, SD, Jerry (Ellen) Styf of Orange Park, FL, Kristy (Mike) Bovee of Adam, NY, Connie Styf of Woodbury, MN; her grandchildren, Shelby (Tara) Styf, Coby Styf, Gerald Whitaker, Aireanna Wade, Amber (Michael) Dvorak; and four sisters, Doris Larson of Ruthton, MN, Joyce Swenson of Pipestone, MN, Marlys (Daniel) Slocum of Addison, IL, and Violet (Terry) Dominiack of Chamberlain, SD.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers, Gordon, LeRoy and George.
