Bradley Ray Barron was born April 11, 1963 to Dale and Shyla Barron in Brookings, SD and passed away January 1, 2023 after a long battle with MENS1. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in White, South Dakota at 10:00 A.M.. Burial will immediately follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in White. Family and friends are invited to share in a time of fellowship following burial at the McKnight Hall in White. Visitation will be held the evening prior, Friday, January 6, 2023, at Eidsness Funeral Chapel in White from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M..
Brad spent his childhood in White, SD with the exception of one year which the family lived in Texas. They then moved back to White where Brad played high school basketball and football for the Deubrook Dolphins, graduating in 1981.
Brad had a 25+ year career with the Brookings County Highway Department alongside his dad, Dale, until Brads retirement due to illness.
He had many hobbies. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and also loved NASCAR. He enjoyed fishing tournaments, hunting at Lantis Ranch, and made many fond memories at Lake Poinsett. He especially enjoyed these hobbies when done with friends and family.
Brads greatest loves were his daughter Tori, granddaughter Zoey, and the time he was able to spend with them. Sara, his best friend, and partner in all things. And, his sidekick, and shotgun rider, his beloved Jack Russell, Meli.
Brad will be greatly missed by so many; his brother Cully, sister-in-law Amber and nephew Kellen. Sara, Ryan, Nikki, Thomas, and Vanessa, and so many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Brad is survived by his daughter Tori (John), granddaughter, Zoey, brother Cully (Amber), nephew Kellen, devoted and most special friend, Sara Beach.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Shyla, and grandparents, Mildred and Alton and Dorothy and Daryl, and his beloved Meli.
