Funeral services for Beverly Hendricks Perry, age 82, of Downers Grove, Illinois, formerly of Brookings, will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Brookings, with interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitations will be from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings. She died Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Burgess Square Healthcare Center in Westmont, Illinois.

Beverly Ann (Hendricks) Perry was born July 8, 1928, in White, South Dakota, the daughter of Paul and Marie (Papka) Hendricks, Jr. Beverly was a graduate of Brookings High School in 1946. She married Wayne E. Perry of Bruce, South Dakota, on May 15, 1953, in Brookings, South Dakota.

Beverly was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Darien, Illinois for over 40 years. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her three children: Steven Perry of Bolingbrook, Illinois, Lynn (Darlene Szablewski) Perry of Rockford, Illinois, and Lisa (Andy) Schuster of Black Creek, Wisconsin; one brother, Larry (Barbara) Hendricks of The Villages, Florida; grandchildren: Danielle, Michael, Matthew, Stephanie, and Rachel Perry; two step-grandchildren: Kayla and Tara Schuster; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; parents; and sisters; Maxine Lakeman and Audrey Dock
