Bethel Jean (Beth) Rindels was born January 24, 1931, in Watertown, SD, to Ernest and Anita (Landon) Schnackenberg. She passed away May 27, 2019 at Edgewood Vista in Brookings, SD. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Eidsness Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitations will be 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, May 29, 2019, also at Eidsness Funeral Home.

Beth attended school in Watertown, SD where she graduated in 1950. After high school she worked at the Oven Gold Bakery in Watertown where she met her future husband.

On Ocotber 6, 1951, Beth married Clifford (Cliff) Rindels at the United Methodist Church in Watertown, SD. Beth was active in that church.   Cliff and Beth lived in St Paul, MN and Gaylord, SD, where Cliff worked for the US Postal Service, before moving to Madison, SD in 1963.  Beth worked at Galloway's Store in Madison for several years and was active in the United Methodist Church, teaching Sunday school.  The family moved to Colman, SD in 1978 and Beth worked as a Teacher's Aide for 2 years and then worked in the Colman Café for 3 years.  When Cliff retired in 1988, they moved to Brookings, SD and lived there ever since.

Beth is survived by her husband of 67 years, Cliff, and their three children, Vickie (Craig) Wilbur of Sioux Falls, SD, Ryan (Roxy) Rindels, Brookings, SD, Kevin (fiancée Peggy Stewart) Hendricks, MN; 7 grandchildren, Ben (Jessica) Wilbur, Harrisburg, SD, Emily (Adam) Sampley, New Castle, CO, Erik (Erica) Rindels, Elkton, SD, Sarah (Jeff) Pitts, Brookings, SD, Samuel (Madeline Estes) Wilbur, Minneapolis, MN, Kyle (Rochelle) Rindels, Dell Rapids, SD, Jennifer (Jordan Spence), Rindels, Brookings, SD; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Merle (Marlys) Schnackenberg, Gresham, OR.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.
