Bernadette Pick, age 95, of White, died Sunday, December 18, 2011, at the Hendricks Community Hospital. Funeral mass will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at St. Anthony's Catholic Parish in Lismore, Minnesota, with interment in the church cemetery. Visitations will precede services at the church on Wednesday. Bernadette Agnes (Wilberding) Pick was born December 18, 1916, at Lismore, Minnesota, to Ben and Agnes (Fehring) Wilberding. She attended St. Anthony's Catholic School in Lismore. On February 19, 1941, she married Urban Pick in Lismore. The couple farmed near Lismore and moved to a farm near Ivanhoe, Minnesota in 1952. They quit farming in 1959, and Urban died in 1973. Bernadette worked for the Marshall Produce for 23 years and then part-time for the Super 8 in Marshall for seven years. She moved with her family to White, South Dakota, in 1999. Bernadette was a member of the Catholic Daughters for 60 years. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Survivors include her son, Melvin Pick, of Gibbon, Minnesota; daughter, Mary Ann Pick, of White; nieces and nephews including a special niece, Rita Pankratz, of Arlington, South Dakota; and a sister-in-law, Dolores Pick, of Worthington, Minnesota. She was preceded in in death by her husband; an infant daughter, Jane; a son, James; and eight brothers and sisters: Elizabeth, Mary, Rose, Francis, John, Henry, Albert, and Josephine.
