Arlen Patrick "Pat" Isler, age 61, of Brookings, died, Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at his home in Brookings. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings. Visitations will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at Watertown, SD. Pat was born on March 17, 1953, to Gordon and Goldie (Schnaser) Isler in Ortonville, MN. His family later moved to Watertown, SD. At an early age, Pat moved to Redfield, SD. In 1985, he moved to Brookings where he worked and lived at Advance. Pat participated in Special Olympics, where he received many medals. He enjoyed going to church camps at Lake Poinsett and truly loved his dog, Woofy. Pat was an avid Batman fan, and he loved dollar bills. Survivors include his siblings: Eugene Isler, Janice Placek, Colette Redlin, Randy Isler, Mark Isler, and Julie Bertrang. He was preceded in death by his parents.
