Angie C. Kvinlog, age 77, of Volga, died Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at Brookview Manor in Brookings. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 20, 2004, at First Lutheran Cemetery in Volga. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Friday at Eidsness Funeral Chapel in Volga. Angie Cordelia Kvinlog was born October 7, 1927, on the family farm in Oslo Township, Brookings County, South Dakota, daughter of Jacob and Josephine (Gunderson) Kvinlog. She attended country school, and graduated from Volga High School in 1945. She lived in Denver, Colorado, for a number of years, where she worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell Telephone Company. She retired in 1982, and returned to Volga about seven years ago. Angies special interests included playing Scrabble and assembling jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed attending SDSU theater productions, and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. She especially treasured her family. Survivors include a brother, Bernard (Bernice) Kvinlog, of Volga; a sister, Pearl (Lewis) Nielson, of Volga; nephews, Allen and Robert Nelson, Gary and John Bjerke, and Steve Nielson; and nieces, Jan Hansen, Barb Heupel, Marlene Marcu, Gayle Tveito; and special friends, Clarence and Phyllis Justice, of Milbank. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Alvina Dahl, Gladys Nelson, and Adeline Bjerke; a brother, Milford Kvinlog; and a special friend, Dee Justice.
