Andrew "Andy" Weyh, age 51, of Astoria, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Peace Lutheran Church in Brookings with burial to follow in Lakewood Cemetery at Waubay, SD. Visitations will be on Thursday from 5-7 P.M. at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings.

Andy was born on June 21, 1970, to Lawrence and Colette (Murphy) Weyh in Milbank, SD. He grew up in Waubay, SD, and graduated from Waubay High School in 1988. After high school, Andy attended Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown. He graduated with a degree in Electronics. After graduation, Andy moved back to Waubay where he worked for Rite Way Vending until 1998.

On November 28, 1998, Andy married Terri Holscher. The couple made their home in Brookings until 2002. At which time, the couple moved to Astoria, SD, where Andy lived until the time of his death.

Throughout his time in Brookings, Andy worked for Daktronics, Empi in Clear Lake, and was currently employed by Counterpart Inc. in Brookings. Andy served as an Elder of Peace Lutheran Church in Brookings. He enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, wood working, and cheering on the "Redskins".

Survivors include his wife, Terri (Holscher) Weyh; son, Dylan; daughter, Natalie; siblings, Kathy (Bill) Jurgens, John (Misty) Weyh, and Curt (Cindy) Weyh; Andy's In-laws, Neil and Lynn Holscher; brother-in-law, Scott Holscher; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Colette (Murphy) Weyh; Infant sibling; and his grandparents, Florence and Andrew Weyh and Frank and Gertrude Murphy.
